We are pleased to inform you that the Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), a Public Sector Undertaking, under the administrative control of Ministry of Power, Govt. of India has invited Global Tenders vide EESL E-Tender ID: 1373; NIT/Bid Document No.: EESL/06/ICB-Smart Meters-ESCO-HR-UP/171807030 dated 01-Aug-2017or for Design, Manufacture, on-site Supply and Maintenance Support for 5 Million GPRS-based Smart Electricity Meters in the Indian states of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh over three years” The last date for submission of Tender is 25.08.2017.
Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), one of the first and largest Energy Service Company (ESCO) of South Asia, were set up as a Public-Sector Undertaking under the administrative control of Ministry of Power, Govt. of India through equity participation of four CPSUs of Ministry of Power (NTPC, Power Grid, Power Finance Corp. and Rural Electrification Corp.).
Among the other, the main objective of EESL is to implement the Energy Efficiency projects for demand side measures including Street lighting, Domestic Efficient Lighting Programme (UJALA – LED Bulbs Distribution Programme), Power distribution sector, Agriculture/Municipal pumps and Public Buildings. The latest in addition to these measures is rolling out of smart meters in the Indian states of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
