From 9 – 13 July 2018, the first edition of the The Hague India Cyber Security Summer School (NICSSS) will take place. The Hague India Cyber Security Summer School is co-organized by the International Institute for Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad, The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies, E2Labs, SkillCube, KrypC, the Municipality of The Hague and many others. The Hague India Cyber Security Summer School will host Master’s students and PhD-candidates with Indian citizenship. These participants are either already residing and studying in the Netherlands or are currently studying in India. The Summer School will welcome approximately 40 Indian students who will come to and participate in The Hague and approximately 50 Indian students who will stay in India and follow lectures in Hyderabad. Web conferencing will be used so that students on each side of the world can follow each other’s lectures. The Hague India Cyber Security Summer School will consist of a five-day program that allows participants to gain deeper knowledge and understanding of cyber security concepts. During this week participants will learn about the latest developments and the cutting edge cyber security technologies that exist today and they will work on assignments provided by notable organizations. Themes of the The Hague India Cyber Security Summer School 2018 are the Internet of Things (IoT) and Critical Infrastructures. HR-event On Wednesday evening the 11th of July, the summer school team wants to organize a HR-event in The Hague for all the participating students. During this event, the summer school team wants to give a limited number of interested companies and/or organizations the unique chance to present themselves to the students and interact with them. The participating companies and/or organizations will have an opportunity to pitch themselves for ca. 15 minutes, as well as the opportunity to talk to the students throughout the evening, accompanied by drinks and (most likely) a buffet dinner. We are looking for four companies and/or organizations willing to participate and to contribute €1500 each. This amount is similar to the cost of a personnel advertisement. The summer school team will use this small fee to cover the costs of the evening as well as to keep the (tuition) costs for the participating students low.
