22Mar2019

From 14:00 until 17:30

At Kasteel De Wittenburg

Landgoed De Wittenburg - Wassenaar

Please find attached the formal invitation for the seminar being organized by us on March 22, 2019, on Indo-Dutch Cooperation in the Agriculture and Food Processing Sector: invitation_march_22_2019

The Seminar will deliberate on the progress in economic ties, the intellectual property regime (IPR) in India as well as flagship programmes / initiatives launched by the Indian Government to encourage investments in the agriculture and food processing sector.

There is immense potential in the agri-food sector as India has the second largest production base for food in the world. However, only around 2% of the fruits and vegetables are processed and wastage levels can vary between 4.6-15.9%. With a large consumer base and rapidly changing consumption preferences, the large market in India offers The Netherlands significant opportunities for collaboration, trade and investment.
